Moving Day!!🚚

By moving our flocks regularly onto fresh pasture:

👉 Our hens stay on clean, fresh ground which contributes to beautiful clean eggs and a healthy environment🍀

👉 Our hens can snack on the fresh pasture and forage for bugs and insects that settled in during the resting period🐛

👉The previous area does not get destroyed. Instead, it gets well fertilised and then undergoes a recovery and regrowth period of 6-8 weeks (where the magic happens)🪄

Better for the soil, better for the hens and better eggs because of it!🥚💛

The girls have arrived🐔💁‍♀️

This week, we received our new flock which completes the Happy Hennz crew for the time being. Safe to say things just got a little busier around here!

These beauties will begin laying in the next 10 days, which means more fresh eggs to go around🤩

🚨Change of Hours🚨

On Saturdays, starting tomorrow, we will only open for gate sales and order collection at 1pm.
This is due to the team attending Crop Up in Greytown.

This change will be in place until April next year when Crop Up finishes.

We are super excited to attend Greytown's Crop Up Market this Saturday.
If you are looking for a fun, upbeat and social market with a great range of stalls, make sure to come on down to Truckstop from 9-11am🌞

Crop Up runs for 20 weeks, and this weekend is the first weekend back since April. We are looking forward to meeting many new faces and introducing our eggs further down the Wairarapa line!

Big thank you to Barb for inviting us, and a huge well done to the Crop Up team for organising such an exciting community market!
