I FINALLY got my blade cover yesterday so I can do a few more things in the machine. It can peel potatoes, garlic and even your boiled eggs.

BUT, in this house we love poached eggs so I’ve been waiting to give it a go. I did them this morning and they were perfect! And super easy!

🍬 Lollycake 🍬

Put that rolling pin back in the drawer, friends! Let the TM7 do all the hard work preparing this back to school treat. Recipe took 10mins, maximum!

My tip: Cookidoo recipe called for 80gms of coconut. I only used about 30-40gms and it was plenty.

Weekly round up!

I’ve had a busy week at work and havent been as prepared in the kitchen as I would have liked to. But here are a few things I whipped up…

Boston Bun - was great but definitely would make two buns (as recipe suggests) out of the mix next time, not one big one. We have Boston bun for Africa 😂

Brioche Buns - This time I made the mix into 6 large buns not 10 small. They were perfect, again. Although I’d probably make 8 buns next time lol.

Teriyaki salmon bowl - I don’t know how many times I’ve made this one! So punchy with flavour! Kris has told me he is done with this dish now. I am not. And since I do the cooking, he’ll be eating again muhahaha.

So, the winner of the TM7 raffle was Amber. Here we are yesterday presenting the TM7 to her. Amber is a keen cook who hasn’t owned a Thermomix previously so she is excited to see how it will change how she cooks!

Thank you to everyone who supported this raffle! Our Halberg kids are very grateful!! The money raised pays for 5 athletes (and their support person) to attend the games which is a big chunk of our team!
