Good morning Quotation food cart followers,

New Zealand has another great champion in golfer Ryan Fox who won the Open Championship Major at the Royal Birkdale course in the early hours of this morning, congratulations.

I wish my adopted Southland hockey team all the best after the earthquake during the week, I hope you are all safe.

I had a busy week organizing jobs, meeting with clients and a busy weekend around the Manawatu serving fabulous customers.

Mikey from The Gauntlet Muay Thai club hosting another 12 bout fight night on August the 8th at QEC.

These events are huge with up to 500 eager spectators watching fit athletes squaring off in a professionally sanctioned sport.

I'm catering a 10 year birthday celebration for the Feilding Social Riders club after meeting with Rachel and Brendon, cheers guys looking forward to spoiling you all.

Raewyn from Ashhurst also got in touch this week for a 70th birthday party for 50 guests early in August.

Beginning of August sees Quotation at BFT Gyms worldwide "Podium" event, looking forward to serving up some healthy options and carbs to club members.

Mid August I have two big days at Ashhurst Domain for the Tararua Dog clubs Obedience and Agility Show.

First week in September Quotation food cart will be back at Manawaroa twin hockey turfs for five days for the Founders Cup National School Boys Tournament.

A solid book of catering and takeaway services over the next 6 weeks leading into the big one, The National Dog Show at Manfeild Trust Park.

Last Friday Quotation had a tremendous few hours at the Manawatu Turbos vs Wellington at Johnston Park Feilding offering a takeaway menu that exceeded my budget and then out to Ashhurst RSA for evening service for club members and locals, it was a massive day.

Saturday and Sunday I was open at Manfeild Trust Park for Central Dog Obedience Region Rally Show, Quotation had overwhelming support from all those in attendance during day time service and a evening meal service.

Thanks to all those customers who bought takeaways and meals over the two days, it was absolutely amazing, I appreciate you all.

I've also included a few pics of a wedding I catered for Rochelle and Cam in June.

Good morning Quotation food cart followers,

Quotation has just finished a 10 day stretch of catering and takeaway services.

A awesome day on Dairyland Farm outside of Palmerston North on Kelvin Grove RD where 700 trees were planted and 45 guests to feed.

A night service for the Ashhurst RSA members, back at the RSA Club on Saturday evening for the Ashhurst Anglers 50th Birthday celebration catering then 7 days straight at Manawatu Hockeys Manawaroa twin turfs for the National Womens under 18 tournament then back to the Ashhurst RSA's Matariki celebration.

During the hockey tournament the Southland team won my heart with some gutsy play, their fabulous off field friendly hospitality and support of my Foodtrailer.

It was a real pleasure to watch most of your final game, you done the Southland region proud, safe travels home to your families.

Thanks for coming to say HI everyday, all the very best for your futures, I'll miss you all❤️🙂.

Quotation has a busy schedule over the next few months, I'm at The Manawatu Turbos pre season game in Feilding this coming Friday, two days at Manfeild for Central Districts Dog Obedience Show next weekend, BFT Gym worldwide "Podium" fitness event, Manawatu Secondary Schools Hockey finals, two days for TADTC Agility dog show at Ashhurst trials clubs ground and 5 days at the Founders Cup National Boys Hockey Tournament.

After those events Quotation has a big catering job at Manfeild for the National All Breeds Dog Show.

This is a renowned NZ dog show with Judges, Stewards and guests from South America, North America, Europe and Australia to cater for and show case NZ cuisine, it's a big job and my opportunity to support local Manawatu businesses as suppliers.

Although I don't post alot of content I appreciate those who follow my business and give fabulous feedback and encouragement.

Good evening Quotation Food Cart followers 🙂

Quotation has been at Fitzherbert Park twin hockey turfs this week, serving delicious food to the wonderful hockey community at the National Womens Under 18 tournament.

I've had the pleasure to meet and support the AWESOME Southland team.

The team have improved throughout the tournament to win their last two games with tenacious defense and some sharp attack in front of goal.

Today some of the team came to say hi, Hannah, Olive, Ella, Esme, Sara, Courtney, Isla, Tessa, Jess to mention a few I can remember.

You have all represented your region with pride, it's been fabulous meeting you all, all the best for the rest of the tournament, thanks for supporting me🙂

Good morning Quotation food cart followers and supporters,

It's been four long months since I've made a page post, I know it's not ideal but most of the time I'm to exhausted to post and it's not my immediate priority.

I've been putting in some long days and nights right through this four month period and the days I do get off work I like to do my own thing, watch some sport, go for a drive, visit family and friends or spend time in my garden.

Quotation has had lots of variety of events catering and offering a takeaway service since I last posted, it's been a busy time but I've loved every minute of it and the challenges of maintaining a successful business, here's some of the jobs and events I've worked at.

Horowhenua Kennel/Kapi-Mana Kennel Clubs Association (3 days), Bikes and Burgers (6) gatherings including Paloma Gardens (Fordell) I love❤️ that place, Massey Universities Oasis gatherings at Wharerata, sports days at Massey Rec Centre, Catering a get together at Massey Universities Hort research center Seminar, welcome orientation day for first year students at Massey residency accommodation, JTL Work Christmas Party in Marton for 60 guests, Redline Kustomz show at Wilson Park Marton (HUGE DAY), Manawatu Junior Rugby League at Coronation Park, 2 X Feilding Dog Training Clubs Obedience and Agility Shows, a lovely wedding at Newbury Hall for a beautiful bride and groom, the iconic Hiwinui Country Estates Sunflower Field display, my regular Friday nights at the Ashhurst RSA, Horowhenua Pony Club 2 day show at Foxton Racecourse, Catering the Rangitane Settlement Trusts AGM, NZ Junior touch tournament at Coronation Park, the Terre Bissell Foundation Whanau touch tournament and my lease spot on the Square.

My regular spot in the Square hasn't been that regular after the Christmas New Year period, I hope to resume a more settled schedule there in the next few weeks.

I have some big events coming up over the next few months, a 60th birthday celebration, two national hockey tournaments at the Fitzherbert twin turfs, more Dog Agility and Obedience shows and bookings as far out as November 2026.

I'm also proud to say I've managed to maintain the same prices on 90% of my regular menu offerings since my opening day in July 2023.

This is achieved by sourcing supplies at better prices, buying bulk goods and having a slimmed down business model where I take full responsibility for all food that is produced and served.

This allows me to pass those savings onto my customers and I can still make a profit, pay my accounts and maintain a viable hospitality business.

I like to support my community sponsoring the Takaro Sports Clubs Pool Section, two Manawatu youth dart players (both in NZ Junior age group Rep teams), a Manawatu Hockey player and Quotation is a regular sponsor of the Ashhurst RSA events calendar.

Thanks to everyone of you who supported Quotation in 2025, I appreciate you all and hopefully we can catch up for a chat into this year.
