And right on cue, 1st July calves are in the shed — including a replacement heifer to kick things off.

It’s been a JD day today, tidying up races, few loads of clay moved, alot of excavator time, and things are shaping up nice before metal. 🙌🙌

That time of year again! 🌞🐄
It's been a great season, and we'll be drying off over the next few days.
Plenty of challenges along the way, but plenty to be grateful for as well. A huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.
Time for a short breather, a bit of maintenance, and then it's all eyes on next season.
Bring on 2026/27!

Finally catching up on some race maintenance around the farm. Now we’re hoping for a solid week or two of sunshine to help dry the maize down and get it ready. A bit of settled weather would go a long way right about now 🌽☀️🚜

It’s that time of the year again — thankfully a few weeks later than normal.

Maize silage back in the diet to help the girls put a bit of condition on before winter. 🌽🐄
