River – 15.2hh Clydesdale Cross Gelding (15 Years Young)

River is a lovely 15.2hh Clydie cross gelding and the definition of a true all-rounder with a golden heart. He is incredibly kind and always careful with his rider, making him a safe and dependable mount. In his previous homes, River has successfully done it all, working as a rugged pig hunter, a competitive sports horse, and a patient kids' horse. While he is deeply caring, he also has plenty of fun "up and go" if you are an experienced rider who wants to move. He is good to shoe, float, and catch. He usually meets you at the gate. This is a very sad sale of a sturdy, versatile horse who will excel in any home.

Suitable for riding on the flat only. Safe forward ride, no dirt at all. Can leave her months at a time. Retired from SJ in previous home with a shoulder muscle injury. Cannot jump, or be trekked over hills.

In foal to Bingley Shadowhunter. Last couple of photos are her last foals. We are not 100% when she is due, no change to her udder currently. Easy foaler.

Jersey is a delight to have around. She is the horse I drag out for beginners/nervous nellys. Can be left months at a time and jump back on.
Easy to catch, float/truck, teeth and feet.
Runs to the gate to meet you, really likes people and seeks engagement. Would excel at liberty games.
She is a lead mare and will keep other horses in check. She is a protector type, and keeps other horses away from scared people, or mares with foals.
