Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at Cameron Harrison on a typical Sunday?
While most people are enjoying their weekend, our Upper Hutt HQ is already buzzing! 💪

Sunday is a BIG day for our crew - from topping up our other three stores with everything they need for the week ahead, including dry goods, chilled deli products and frozen stock, to replenishing the Upper Hutt retail store and getting stuck into our weekly sausage production.

And when we say weekly sausage production… we're talking OVER A TONNE of fresh sausages every single week! 🌭🔥

Once the stock is ready to go, one of our team hits the road to deliver it across our other three stores, making sure each site is fully stocked and ready for the week ahead.

And it takes a BIG team to make it all happen! 👊

🍝 Everything You Need for the Perfect Spaghetti Bolognese 😋

When the Wellington weather turns cold, there's nothing quite like a big bowl of homemade Spaghetti Bolognese. ❤️

We've made it easy by stocking the three essential ingredients for the ultimate comfort meal:
🥩 Premium Beef Mince – approximately 450g packs of our quality ground beef.

🦌 See You at the NZDA Hunting & Wildlife Expo! 🦌

We'll be at the NZDA Hunting & Wildlife Expo next weekend at the Lower Hutt Events Centre on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July, and we'd love to see you there!

This year we're proud to be supporting the launch of the Game Changer NZ initiative alongside the Game Animal Council and the Wild Game Recovery Trust.

This exciting new programme gives hunters the opportunity to make a real difference by donating harvested wild game meat to local charities.

Here's how it works:
🦌 Register as a hunter with Game Changer NZ
📍 Enter the details of your harvested game meat into the online portal
🥩 Drop your donated game meat into any of our four Wellington butcheries
🔪 We'll professionally process the meat (typically into mince) and deliver it to local charities in need
📦 Every pack is labelled with the unique donation ID, allowing the recipient to trace their meal all the way back to the hunter and the bush!

It's an incredible way to ensure nothing goes to waste while helping feed families in our community.

While you're there, come and have a chat with us about our Wild Game & Home Kill processing service. Whether it's premium cuts, sausages, salami, biersticks, kranskys or custom small goods - we do it all!

And of course... we'll be giving away FREE samples of our handcrafted venison salami all weekend, made using donated venison from the local New Zealand Deerstalkers Wellington Branch.
