Forget everything you think a gin tasting should be.

We’re taking Southward out onto Wellington Harbour great gin, salty air, good stories and a few unexpected memories.

We will be onboard pouring five Southward gins for a guided tasting, sharing the tales behind the bottles and keeping the evening just the right amount of unhinged. We’ll finish with a mini cocktail as the city lights up around us.

Big harbour views.
Absolutely no stuffy tasting-room chat.

Additional drinks will be available from the licensed onboard bar.

Departing Queens Wharf, Wellington.
Boarding begins 20 minutes before departure.

It’s BEERVANA WEEK!

With our small but mighty team heading along, the Lyall Bay Tasting Room will be closed Friday & Saturday. Come find us at Stall 22 and venture into the Electric Wild.

Fear not — we’re leaving you with our THURSDAY TAKEAWAY SPECIAL, plus bonus free mixers this week, so you can stock up while we’re shut.

We’re BACK SUNDAY with live DJs, good times and plenty of drinks.

And there’s a new bombshell in the villa.

Our CHARRED LEMON GIN has been hiding away behind the bar, but it’s officially out in the wild. Now available for takeaway and drinks at the Tasting Room.

Think hockey on the TV, Shania on the speakers, maple cocktails, classic Caesars, and plenty of good yarns over a dram. There is even a maple manhattan on the cards.

Winter is coming…
And so too are our winter hours. Tomorrow will be our last Wednesday while we hibernate hump day for winter.
Have no fear as craft night will move to Thursdays.
Along with a few new specials we are going to be introducing another W word to keep you warm.
