If you’ve been hanging around here for a while you would remember me about this time last year throwing in my tired old towel and saying there would be none or very little flowers the next coming season… 😅 well one seedling led to another and before I knew it I was deep in flower town with sleep and everything else I had planned on doing out the window😅But this time it’s for reals, I have thrown that towel behind the fridge and there’s no getting it back.So it is going to be my last stall day tomorrow, Saturday 25th January and that’s it!😮😬 I will miss all of your flowery faces so very much, but I will still be around- scheming something crazy and time consuming no doubt!😂😅Thank you so much for your amazing support all this time, it’s been a total blast 💥 Eve 👍

It’s been a big day up to my elbows in flowers with my boy outside the window jumping up and down on a pogo stick yelling mum mum mum my girl beside me whining I’m boooored, my hungry dog has been staring at me like a creep for around 15 minutes, I haven’t even thought about what to do for tea, the washing is piling up and I have about 20 more bunches to make before tomorrow morn😅

Anyway the point is, if work is feeling overwhelming or if your child’s voice has become more and more irritating as each day has gone by, before you poke yourself in the eye for a little light relief I say come, come get yourself some flowers tomorrow and help yourself get through yet another day of these long, long holidays😅

Eeeek guys I’m selling my sweet sweet electric flower van!! 🚐 So very sad to see it go as it honestly cracks me up every time I drive it and it’s just an all round fun easy enjoyable ride 🤙

Sam has finally agreed to letting me get an old school Volvo so I need to strike well the iron is hot before he changes his mind😂😅

Hoooolley moley a week and a half away and the dahlias have gone bananas! I wasn’t going to have a stall until Saturday but I would be crazy not to pick ‘em so I’m going to bunch up these bad boys tonight and have them out in the stall tomorrow Monday 6th Jan! 💥

Hope everyone had a good Xmas and new year, and if you didn’t make one well how about “buy myself more flowers” for your 2025 new year resolution huh 😘 💐

MERRY XMAS!!! 🎄 💥

Last stall of the season and man I am TIRED!!! 💐

I hope you all have a smashing Christmas and squeeze in as much fun as possible. I’ve got the reduced cream and onion soup mix on ice and can’t wait to get these calloused hands on some scorched almonds and cheap fizzy! 🥂 💥

💥Small Wednesday stall!💥

Last week of school this week 😅😅😅 and there are thank you’s galore so I thought I would bust out a cheeky Wednesday stall with a stack of these little “teacher bunches”

They are mini bunches of flowers you can dry so will be tough enough to handle your little darling bashing it up on the way to school and cheap enough you can get one for every kindy teacher instead of just awkwardly sneaking one to your favourite😅

Only 12 dollarydoos and will be in the stall this Wednesday 11th December, 8am 💥

So last week it was the snapdragons and this week it was 1 million stems of statice needing picking on exactly the same day…😅 so I have come up with three reasons why you should come snap up this retro fave … 💐

1: Pity
I hunched in the beating sun for 1 hour 20mins cutting and wrangling each stem from the netting, foolishly tucking my dress into my un**es for maximum breeze action which resulted in two burned beetroot for butt cheeks as the sun sizzled down ☀️ 🔥

2: Nostalgia
Were you even an 80’s child if your mum didn’t have a statice riddled bowl of pot pourri on the coffee table, proudly displayed next to the latest Alison Holst cookbook??

3: Very good ideas
Forget curling the plastic ribbon with the edge of the scissors no no no this year it’s all about sustainability so get yourself some brown paper and string and tie a little bunch of statice on each prezzy … crowds are going to go wild I tell you.

Aaand in conclusion, flowers out now, Saturday 7th December 💥 💐

So I have this unhealthy obsession with billy buttons and I’ve been hoarding them for months now and watched bunch after bunch of billy-buttonless bunches go out the door but oh no not tomorrow, tomorrow is a big day for my billy button issue and I have put ONE billy button in each bunch and I’m dusting off my shoulders very pleased with this first step to recovery.

I have also been raking in the flowers you can dry and making wreath after wreath with yes one billy button in each, I know, progress. So if I haven’t got onto you about the wreath you have ordered I’m working on it, but I tell you those grape vines are hard to wrangle and time is hard to find!

Anywho, flowers out tomorrow Saturday 8am, I’ve got soooo many snapdragons I actually can’t stand them now so it’s bargain basement snaps so come snap em up 💥

Hot busy week so full of flowers my eyes are like 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 and my fingernails ohhh my fingernails 😅😅💩

My arthritic little sausages will be hand wrangling some more of these bad boys today to make up some of the always asked after DIY wreaths!!💥🫨

They will be $40 dollary doos and if you give me a shout I will add you to the list and get one made up for you!

I am totally lacking in photos of these so will pull out a few old crustys from the archives, but if anyone has any snaps of their front door masterpieces please do send them through for this post! 💥

Ps: a few random small bunches out in the stall this morning as I just couldn’t walk past without picking some😅
