As veraison occurs rapidly throughout the vineyard, nets are being put on to protect the ripening fruit from ravenous birds!
Harvest 2026 is fast approaching and the vineyard is a hive of activity in preparation.

If you visit our home block Kupe vineyard over the next few weeks you will notice a field scattered with sunflowers. Feel free to pick some while you're there!

This particular field will be planted with vines in the future but for now the focus is on improving soil health through biodiverse plantings, an important practice also used amongst the exisiting vines to create a more resilient vineyard ecosystem.

And the resident bird scarers really love frolicking amongst the flowers!

Chardonnay has begun flowering on our Te Muna Rd home block, Kupe.
Located just outside of the Martinborough township at a higher elevation, the vineyards in Te Muna Valley experience their own micro climate with a slightly later season just one of the many differences that contribute to the areas unique identity, reflected in the wines produced from this special place.

A rare variety that is known for its spicy subtle flavours and its remarkable ability to express terroir, the 2025 vintage Pinot Blanc is vibrant and fresh with exceptional clarity, delicate aromatics and a distinctive mineral edge.
Bursting with aromas of lemon verbena, white peach, and fresh orchard fruits.
A subtle savoury undertone - characteristic of the variety - adds depth and complexity. The palate is bright and poised, showing soft acidity and flavours of nectarine and yuzu.
