Our pasta and wine pop up is only a few days away now.
We’re collaborating with Monty & Sons to bring you delicious pasta throughout the afternoon, matched with the full range of Oraterra wines.
In our pop up space, the original paintings by Jim Dennison/Leanne Williams, created for our art labels, now have a place to call home. We designed the space around these artworks, each one speaking directly to each one of our wines, and as artist Leanne has put it “the beauty of things made slowly”.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
Come and join us.
WHEN: Saturday 8th & Sunday 9 August, 12pm - 5pm
WHERE: The Old Winemakers’ Cottage at 31 Princess Street, Martinborough
BOOK: Reservations for groups of 6 or more, otherwise walk ins welcome. DM us or email [email protected].
TICKETS: Pay as you go.

To mark the end of our 2026 harvest, our winemakers Wilco, Tom and intern Freddy took the rest of the team through the 2026 wines. Starting with what will be our Blanc de noir, through the whites and onto the Pinot noirs, these wines were all at varying stages of fermentation and development. They definitely got us all excited about what’s to come over the next 18 to 24 months as they mature.
We finished with a well deserved thank you lunch.
Well done team!

The final wine in our recent 2024 release: Oraterra Chardonnay

From the moment we picked it, we had a good feeling about the 2024 Chardonnay.
Kumquat, cut meadow flowers, buttercups and chalk are not typical for Chardonnay, but so characteristic of ours. The wine moves steeply and swiftly over the palate like a river, guided by a levee of acidity. However, its full-bodied nature wants to spill over the sides, filling the mouth from front to back and forward again like a wave, full of energy.
