Hey everyone 🐔💛
Unfortunately we won’t have eggs for sale again this Saturday as our girls are still on the moult. We’re pretty sad about it, but the hens are busy growing new feathers instead of laying eggs right now!
We’re giving them the rest they need and can’t wait for them to be back to their egg-laying selves.
We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we’re back up and running 🥚✨

Hey egg lovers 💛
Just a quick heads up from Utopia Free Range Eggs.

We won’t have eggs for sale this Saturday unfortunately. After those crazy winds, our girls have decided it’s moulting time and egg numbers have dropped right off. We’re putting what eggs we do have towards our regular wholesale customers for now, which means we’re short for our usual sales - and yep, we’re pretty gutted about it 😔

💛 The good bit:
We do have $10 trays of 30 pullet eggs available. Just message the page to place an order and I’ll be delivering Friday afternoon. ✅️
I also have a limited number of Jumbo eggs 12 for $10. ✅️

If you’re wondering what a moult is: it’s totally normal. The girls drop old feathers and grow new ones, usually after weather changes or when daylight shifts. Growing feathers takes heaps of energy, so they basically press pause on laying while they focus on staying healthy and warm 🐓💛

We honestly can’t thank you enough for the support and patience. Backing local farmers - especially during weeks like this - means more than we can say. We’re so grateful for this community and for everyone who supports our girls while nature does its thing 💛

These are a customer favourite! Pullet eggs come from our younger hens and have a beautifully delicate flavour, rich yolks, and are perfect for poaching or scrambling.
• Jumbo Eggs - $10 for a tray of 12
• Regular Size 7 Eggs - $25 per tray of 30
• Regular Dozens - $10
