Over the last couple of weeks, my uncle coffee expert William Mawe has planted over 1,000+ coffee trees of different varieties ☕🌱

Our coffee blocks are still under a full rehabilitation program, and while there’s a lot of work ahead, we’re getting there slowly but surely.

Step by step, we’re bringing the coffee back to life. 💚

All 12 vegetable plots each in different sizes are now ready for planting 🌱

Garlic is already in the ground on the first plot, and the rest will soon be filled with our everyday essentials: carrots, radish, tomatoes, lettuce, beans, a variety of peppers 🌶, bulb onions, potatoes, sweet corn, and chives.

Growing our own food, one plot at a time fresh, simple, and straight from garden to plate.

The soil here is just rich with nutrients expecting bountiful harvest 😌.

Fence construction is now underway! Slowly but surely, we’re making progress and putting everything into place for the coffee estate and lodge. Every step brings us closer to the bigger vision 🌿☕

Another productive day on the land 🌱

Today we’re planting a mix of trees and food crops to keep building our space naturally and sustainably. We’ve got Yar, Kumurere (gum trees – Eucalyptus), Klinki pine, pine trees, and a variety of native trees going into the ground.

On the food side, we’re adding cassava, taro, grape vines, garlic, and choko to the garden.
Step by step, we’re growing something that will not only feed us but also create a peaceful, green environment for everyone to enjoy 🌿
