๐ŸŒบ My First MISIS Kolos is Complete! ๐ŸŒบ

Today I am excited to share my completed MISIS Kolos. A special thank you to my lovely neighbor, Cecilia, who showed me the MISIS Kolos pattern and inspired me to create this beautiful design.

I would also like to thank Alan, who designed the beautiful hibiscus flower artwork that I love so much. Thank you to James for printing the hibiscus design onto the fabric and bringing the artwork to life.

A big thank you as well to Wendy, Abby, and Shina for helping with the hibiscus printing process and supporting this project along the way.

In this video, I am also wearing a beautiful necklace from the Solomon Islands, a special gift from one of our boss's wives. Thank you so much for your thoughtful gift. It matches my MISIS Kolos perfectly and makes this outfit even more special.

This MISIS Kolos was proudly sewn by me, Nyaline Stitchs. It was created through teamwork, creativity, and a shared love of beautiful PNG-inspired designs. Seeing the finished result makes me happy and motivates me to continue sewing and creating more unique pieces.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this project a success. Your support, skills, and encouragement mean so much to me. โค๏ธ

โœ‚๏ธ A little alteration can make a big difference!

Today I was adjusting my company-issued reflector work trousers. They were too long for me, so I carefully measured, cut, and hemmed them to the right length so they fit comfortably around my ankles.

Having sewing skills is so useful because I can make simple adjustments myself and get a perfect fit without any hassle. Another small sewing job completed today!

Happy Tuesday everyone! ๐ŸŒธโœ‚๏ธ

Today is my day off from work, but I never like to waste my free time. Instead, I spend my day doing something I truly enjoy โ€” sewing.

Right now, I'm in my sewing room working hard to complete my pending customer orders. Every stitch brings me joy, and I'm grateful to be turning my passion into an extra source of income for my family.

Sewing is more than just a hobby for me; it's something I love doing on my days off. It keeps me busy, helps me grow my skills, and allows me to create beautiful pieces for my customers.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my sewing journey. Your encouragement and orders mean so much to me. โค๏ธ

If you're looking for custom sewing services, feel free to message me. I look forward to creating something special for you!

Good morning everyone ๐ŸŒบ

Today, I would like to share one of our traditional dishes from Manus Province called Polom.

Polom is a special sago dish that is usually prepared during big events and important celebrations in our Manus culture. First, we fry the sago. Then we scrape the coconut and squeeze the coconut milk into a pot. We boil the coconut milk until it becomes foamy and starts turning into oil.

After that, we add the fried sago into the pot and continue stirring it slowly until the sago becomes dark, sticky, and well cooked. While it is still hot, we place it onto a tray and shape it like a cake.

To serve the dish, we add fried fish together with rich coconut cream, spring onion, lemon juice, and fresh lemon slices for extra flavor.

Polom is more than just food to us. It is part of our tradition, culture, and our way of bringing people together during special occasions.

Cooked with love โค๏ธ Shared with pride from Manus Province.
