Local Enforcement: Municipalities, including Bacong, operate under these broader Ecological Solid Waste Management programs to curb single-use waste and encourage shoppers to use reusable alternatives like cloth bags or bayong.
National Mandate: The country relies on the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Law (Republic Act No. 11898). This national law requires businesses to take responsibility for their plastic packaging and promote.
