We tried Makatata, a small stop-and-go burger joint that perfectly captures what a real smashed burger should be.

What we ordered:

Single Smash Burger โ€“ โ‚ฑ150 (+โ‚ฑ20 for egg)

Double Smash Burger โ€“ โ‚ฑ220

Their burgers are simple but filling. The savory match of the beef patty and pickles was spot on โ€” no frills, just flavor. It's a great spot for a quick merienda before catching a bus or as a warm welcome snack when you arrive in Baguio.

For only 220, it satisfies all senses of the body. Sight, it's pleasing to see and is aesthetically plated. Smell, the aroma is incredible. Taste, it tastes as good as it looks. It has a balanced taste of sweet, savoury, and nutty. The pasta also has two crunch factors, peanuts and deep fried molo wrapper. The pasta is perfectly al dentรจ. Hearing and touch. Crushing the molo wrapper makes the dish interactive and fun to eat. The portion is generous for a single serving. Highly recommended.

Perfect blend of hot or cold coffee that you need. Their drinks have unique flavours that match with coffee.
