Tambayan Station was founded in March 2011 by Lester Javier, a graduate of B. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology in 2000 who has worked as an electrical engineer in South Korea for 10 years. Lester has decided to come back to his homeland on end of 2010 to pursue what he deems to be his true calling which is to be part of rebuilding our nation, and he
plans to accomplish that by initially putting up businesses that will promote purely Filipino products and provide jobs to his fellow Filipinos. From operating a single ice scramble franchise in 2011, Tambayan Station has to date grown to to have operated 8 company-owned kiosks with products ranging from ice scramble, ice cream, siopao/siomai, rice toppings, etc. It is currently in the process of offering its ice scrambe / ice cream fusion brand Ice Creamble to public for franchising. It has further partnered with the company providing its ice needs, Kelly Ice Delivery, and has assumed full operational management. Further, Tambayan Station has also started venturing into property management, buying, selling and leasing properties. It has recently partnered with Home Edge UK, Ltd. to further its venture into managing properties which now include condominium units in prime locations in Metro Manila. From having a single employee working together with the founder Lester Javier, Tambayan Station currently hires more than 20 employees, most of whom were deprived of chance for college education but are very talented nonetheless.
