Hope isn’t knowing that everything will get better tomorrow.
It’s knowing that even when we don’t understand what’s happening today, God has not forgotten us. 🙏
Jeremiah 29:11 was originally spoken to God’s people while they were in exile in Babylon—far from home and facing a difficult season they never wanted.
God didn’t promise them an immediate escape. Instead, He reminded them that even in the middle of their uncertainty, He had not forgotten them.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” - Jeremiah 29:11
Maybe you’re also in a season where you don’t fully understand what’s happening—with your family, finances, work, business, or future.
This verse doesn’t promise that everything will happen according to our plans.
It reminds us that God remains faithful even when we cannot yet see what He is doing.
And for those who trust in Christ, our hope goes beyond better circumstances.
Through Jesus, we can be reconciled to God and have a hope that lasts beyond whatever this life may bring.
We may not know what tomorrow holds, but difficult seasons do not mean God has forgotten His people.
He remains faithful to His promises. 💙
Have a blessed Sunday, everyone!
