📌 Sunday Message • October 18

FALSE WORSHIP (John 4:1-26)

WHY WE WORSHIP WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW?
(v. 22)

1. Our flesh is SPIRITUALLY BLIND
The woman has no concept of eternal things.
She is after the water, but not on Jesus Himself who is the Living water.

We worship the creation more than the Creator.

2. Our flesh is SELFISH
The woman was more focused on her need (to satisfy her physical needs) than Jesus Christ (Who supplies her spiritual need).

We all worship something or someone. We either worship God, or we worship our idols.

3. Our flesh is SINFUL
The woman is still living in sin, and is in need of cleansing from Jesus, the Living water.

We can’t truly give the right worship to God, if we still don’t have Jesus Christ in our hearts. Remember that we are dead in our transgressions. DEAD MEN CAN’T WORSHIP.

Not unless we are born again by the blood of Jesus Christ, and He gives us a new life and heart, we will never know what True Worship means.

May we not just look our best, but most importantly, may we serve and give the Lord our best!

Sunday is for worshiping our one true God, and bringing Him all the glory. ❤️

Let us prepare our hearts to meet and worship our Savior tomorrow. 🙏🏻

It’s our family Sunday, and lunch fellowship today. We had a meaningful discussion right after our church service about how we can bring more glory to the Lord in our daily lives. Thank you Lord for the challenging message you gave us this morning. May we always seek you, worship you, and praise you even in the most mundane tasks we do as pilgrims in this world. 🤍

Always a blessed Sunday! 🩵

This morning was a little different as I had to travel from my parents’ home to the mission church. We were staying in Olongapo which is 2 hours away from Botolan. Our week was mostly spent on pedia visits, check ups, and medication routine because two of my children are sick. But, praise the Lord they are getting better each day. The Lord is faithful and gracious! 🙌🏻

As a full time mom of two toddlers and newborn, I am always tired🥱,and earlier I had a 2 hour power nap! My first time since giving birth to my 3rd son, and I praise God for that rest! 🥹 Thank you Lord for a victorious Sunday, despite the trials we faced. Your grace has been sufficient for me. 🤍🙏🏻
