𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦!!!
This isn't our usual post but for the awareness of everybody, for the 1st time, I will post this.
I ordered from Redtail this morning for evening delivery through text. Everything went well when I told them I will pay in cash upon delivery.
Roughly 2 hours later somebody called and told me he is from Redtail and that the rider's money isn't enough to pay them so I need to send the payment through online and he sent me the details as you can see below. I was really about to send the payment but thank God I did not as I was wondering why would Redtail request an urgent payment? 🤔
This is not my first time to order from them so I am so familiar with how they handle customers when it comes to payment for orders done via texting. They usually require payment upon delivery and not like this. So I called Redtail to confirm if its really them who called, and they told me this.. This answered my question how did he get my number and the exact amount for my order..
Redtail Staff: "Hala! Mygali maam nanawag ka daan, dili to kami. Naa man gud nanawag nag ask kung pila daw bayronon sa nag order via text kay bayaran daw niya, so nangutana mi kung 7307 ba ang last sa number kay ikaw pasad ang nag order sa text, and niingon sya ug uu murag kana, p**i complete daw kay akong sure mao ba, so gihatag nako ang number maam, and niingon sya uu kana gyud nga number and gihatag sad namo pila ang bayronon"
This also happened to us before, when I booked maxim for the delivery of the lechon belly, I input all of the details including amount and the number of the recipient. I was completely unaware that time that the details would be seen by all the active riders. Fast forward... Our customer paid twice, 1st to the scammer via Gcash payment and 2nd to us. I was so embarrassed at the time😞 basin nagtoo gyud to ang customer nga nangilad mi. I reported the said incident to Gcash but unfortunately they do not give details if the one who complained is not the person who was scammed.😞 Scammer usually use this statement "dili enough ang kwarta sa rider para ibayad sa amoa"
That is why, we do not use maxim now for the delivery if available lang among tigdeliver.
Hoping makatabang ni kay grabe na gyud ang scammers nowadays😞
