STAY HEALTHY, EAT LOWCARB
- Nutrilife
Akala ng marami… okay lang ang fatty liver kasi “common” na daw.
But here’s the scary part. Fatty liver is one of the silent diseases that can slowly progress into liver inflammation, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer.
And the worst part? Maraming tao walang symptoms habang lumalala na ang kondisyon.
This is why I take fatty liver seriously in my patients. Especially if may kasamang: • obesity • hypertension • high triglycerides • Type 2 diabetes • PCOS • mataas na uric acid
These are signs of metabolic dysfunction.
One major driver of fatty liver is excess sugar and refined carbohydrates. Especially sugary drinks, frequent snacking, desserts, bread, milk tea, juices, and ultra processed foods.
In LCIF (Low Carb and Intermittent Fasting), we focus on lowering insulin levels and reducing excess carbohydrate load so the body can start using stored fat for energy.
Many patients are surprised that when they lessen sugar and refined carbs, their fatty liver markers, triglycerides, waistline, and energy levels often improve.
Hindi porket normal ka today… safe ka forever. Sometimes the liver has already been suffering quietly for years.
Your future liver is built by your daily habits.
