Lesson learned: Not because it’s bigger, it’s better. 🐝🌱
According to Sir Boy Loyola, because stingless bees are small, they actually prefer smaller, more suitable homes.
This colony came to us in a big, double-layered box years ago. We never opened it before. Back then, we weren’t yet knowledgeable about proper stingless bee management, so we simply trusted what we had. 😅
But that’s okay. It’s all part of learning.
One thing we’ve learned the hard way: it really pays to undergo proper training before getting your hands into something new. 🐝
Now, we know better. We’ll be transferring this colony into a smaller, more appropriate home. They have everything they need to thrive, so we’re confident they’ll be just fine. 💕🐝
Every mistake teaches us something. Every new lesson helps us become better stewards of what God has entrusted to us. 🌱💗
Still learning. Still growing. One bee colony at a time. 🐝
