✨Is LASIK painful?✨
It isn’t painful, for me, but there is a discomfort during the 10 mins surgery because they flush your eyes and use a retractor to hold it open. There is a bit of pressure, you have to hold still and keep looking straight at the green light. But other than that, it’s bloodless & painless, it’s as discomforting as pulling out false eyelashes that aren’t glued on lightly.

✨What about downtime?✨
I had lasik done on a ,Saturday morning so I went home and slept for 4 hours. When I woke up, I couldn’t believe how clear my vision was. It’s like having built in contact lenses! The day after is definitely the highlight of Lasik! Anyway, it’s something you have to experience yourself if you’ve worn glasses or contact lenses for as long as you can remember.

✨Where is Borough Lasik Center and how much does the procedure cost?✨
Borough Lasik Center is located at Door 8 & 9 JJ’s Commune, Loyola st. Obrero, Davao City open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
It costs 75k php all-in, this covers the whole process, eye drops & follow ups included!

✨The Paw Studio✨
Visited The Paw Studio and had my dog Pippa try the Glow-up Service. It’s the full service plus Keratin and Perfume.

I never leave my Dog at the groomers because I have trust issues with Pet Salons because one time I picked her up and she had a patch of her ear’s skin wounded. After that, every time I had to have her groomed she’d shiver scared right at the door 😞

Loved how the groomers at Paw Studio were SO NICE! They played with her and waited for her to warm up to them before they started combing off her tangles.

I also checked out their merch while waiting. The products on display aren’t the usual Shopee marked-up toys and clothes. They have bibs and Harnesses custom-made by a tailor and their treats are from Korea. They also sell the imported products they use for grooming in-store. Show-dog quality perfumes and Shampoos!

The Keratin shampoo was fun to watch. They mix it up until it’s frothy and after application, they let it sit before they wash it off, it’s like a hot oil treatment. Pippa’s hair was super smooth afterwards! They use Keratin for breeds with straight hair and use Protein for curly-haired pets. You also get to choose a scent at the end. We went with the baby powder scent.

After any service at Paw studio, there’s a COMPLIMENTARY PHOTOSHOOT. They also send you all the photos of your furbabies afterwards. The little bow is such a nice touch too!

I highly recommend Paw Studio and plan to go back with my other 3 dogs, I feel really comfortable leaving my pets with them for the next grooming session because i’ve seen the groomers take really good care of furbabies there. Plus points because the owner is a pet-lover too! Thank you Paw Studio for the great service 🤍

Walang signal pero may videoke. I also love that they have a full set of pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. You can literally film a cooking show here! They have an outdoor grill, and yes their bathrooms are clean. They also already have a pool. Rooms are good for 15 but max of 20 people 🤍
