I just want to share something based on my experience. ❤️

I once started as a food blogger — that’s why I built one of my main sites, FoodiePalOnline.com, and page Davao Foodie Online to document my journey sa pagkaon, sa mga restaurants nga akong gi-try, ug sa mga flavors nga nakapalipay nako. 🥘🍜

Through the years, I’ve noticed daghan kaayo ug comments online about food bloggers/vloggers. Some would say nga mura daw og puro “lami” lang ang giingon, without much critique. But let’s be real — food blogging and vlogging are experience-sharing. They guide you, give you an idea kung unsay pwede nimo ma-expect, and let you see the food through their eyes (and taste buds). 😋

Food vloggers/bloggers → focus more on personal experience and taste preference. If ilang giingon nga lami, that’s because for them lami gyud. Pero kung curious ka kung pareha ba mo og taste preference, that’s your challenge — try it yourself and maybe make your own content.

On the other hand, food critics → mas technical ang approach. They talk about texture, balance, presentation, ingredients, and cooking techniques. Their reviews are like a classroom for your palate — very detailed and analytical.

Both sides matter. Food bloggers/vloggers inspire us to experience the food ourselves, while food critics guide us with deeper understanding. Sa katapusan, kita gihapon ang mag-decide unsa atong taste, unsay atong “lami,” ug unsay maka-happy sa atong pagkaon journey. ✨

So whether you read blogs, watch vlogs, or follow critics — take it as a guide. But the best review will always be your OWN EXPERIENCE!
