The Halal Philippines Pavilion was formally opened at the 33rd Consumer Fair & Trade Expo at the International Convention Centre, Berakas, showcasing Philippine food, agribusiness, wellness, and lifestyle products to Bruneian consumers and business partners.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Guest of Honor Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, together with Her Excellency Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam.
They were joined by Ms. Norjamin G. Delos Reyes, Commercial Counsellor of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Kuala Lumpur, and Ms. Annalyn Lopez-Jamora, Agricultural Attachรฉ of the Philippine Agriculture Office, Embassy of the Philippines in Bangkok.
The Pavilion features a range of Philippine products, including premium chocolates, specialty coffee, tropical fruits, innovative snacks, coconut-based products, wellness supplements, cacao products, fruit specialties, and selected lifestyle items.
Visitors are invited to drop by the Halal Philippines Pavilion from 24 to 28 June 2026 to sample selected products, meet Philippine producers, and discover new flavors and business opportunities from the Philippines.
The Halal Philippines Pavilion is a joint initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry-Export Marketing Bureau, the Department of Agriculture, the Office of the Agriculture Attachรฉ of the Embassy of the Philippines in Bangkok, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center-Kuala Lumpur, and the Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.
