Their courage wasn’t just found on battlefields—it lives on in the sacrifices they made, the principles they defended, and the unwavering love they had for our country. They gave us the freedom we cherish today, reminding us that our liberty is never free—it was paid for with their courage, their perseverance, and their lives.
But heroism isn’t only in the pages of history. Today, we also honor the quiet heroes among us: the frontliners, the parents, the teachers, the workers, and every Filipino who strives to do what is right, every single day. Those who work hard, stand for what is just, and lift others up—they too carry the spirit of our heroes.
