From raw calamansi to booming Q Mansi? You may be wondering why!
SOUR PULP. As sour as a pulp, the owners of Mariano Integrated Farm (MIF) processing plant namely: Mr. Roderick Mariano and Mrs. Michelle Mariano squeezed all the possible solutions to overcome their challenging encounters—from being employees of a company, to Overseas Filipino Workers before becoming a boss of their own. They ventured into businesses like party needs, auto supply to integrated farming. But, as they went through the process; unwelcome problems have met them.
BITTER RIND. Just like the taste of a rind (the skin of lime), starting the integrated farm in 2012 was never easy. By then, they started planting 4,000 calamansi trees with the hope that it will help in lifting up their standard of living. After three years, the trees yielded desirable results with tons of calamansi fruits. It could have been a breakthrough for them, unfortunately the excessive fruits have turned into enormous wastage. They did not know what to do with the fruits. It hurt them to see lots of calamansi that were just rotten away in an idle space. That dilemma went on; until one day, God has guided them towards a new direction.
