A month ago, I quit my VA job. I realized that despite earning a substantial income, I wasn’t happy and that’s why I chose to walk away.
Years ago, I started my own perfume business, but I had to put it on hold when life got too busy. Lately, I’ve found myself staring out the window, wondering what kind of business or side hustle I should pursue next.
Doubts often creep into my mind, but I truly believe that if you aren’t willing to take a risk, you will never learn.
After finding a reliable international supplier, I started planning. I carefully considered my target market, anticipated expenses, and projected profits. But before writing everything down, I turned to God and asked Him if this was where I was meant to be.
At first, I doubted myself because I don’t have a large social circle. But knowing I will find genuine happiness running this business made me realize something important: God doesn’t close a door to deny you, but to redirect you toward a door meant specifically for you ~one that leads to something far better.
Sometimes, you just have to take the risk, trust the process, and believe that God knows exactly where you belong.
It takes real courage to step away from a lucrative income stream to prioritize your peace and happiness. Choosing alignment over ease isn't the path of least resistance, but it is usually the one that leads somewhere worth going.
