Baked some pandesal the other day and shared a few with Ping’s neighbor.

One of them came back asking if they could buy some for her mom because she loved it… aaww, my heart 🥺

New season. New responsibilities. New kind of stretching.

The past months have been so full — physically, emotionally, mentally. But we finally opened our doors last week, and that alone is already something we’re so grateful for. 🤍 God has been faithful through every doubt and delay.

baking sourdough this coming Friday so Saturday morning can start slow, warm, and unhurried.

Hope wanted a creamier pasta using my basil pesto — so ta-da! I used one bottle of pesto and added one pack of Nestlé All-Purpose Cream, plus a little salt and pepper. Then I tossed in the boiled spaghetti with some pasta water, and that was it!

Hubby said it’s so delicious it could actually be sold.

New Year’s Eve, I was baking sourdough while waiting for midnight. We went outside the gate to watch the fireworks, the kids were busy making s’mores, and time just slipped by.

After more than an hour, I remembered my bread.

It was burned.

But honestly, the moment wasn’t. The laughter, the fireworks, the memories — they weren’t wasted. Sometimes you lose a loaf because you chose to be present, and that’s not always a bad thing. Just a reminder to be a little wiser next time.
