IRONMAN 70.3 Lapu-Lapu tomorrow, Sunday, August 10 from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM
There will be a FULL ROAD CLOSURE on the race route (bike leg) passing through Barangays Punta Engaño, Mactan, Maribago, Agus, Marigondon, and Subabasbas before proceeding to the Municipality of Cordova.
• All motorists are advised to leave as early as possible during this event, especially in the affected areas.
• All vehicles with transactions or bound for the airport are advised to arrive early to avoid inconvenience and delays.
• Event participants are also advised to arrive early to avoid inconvenience and delays.
• All motorists, drivers, and other road users are advised to follow the traffic signs installed on the re-routing areas during the event.
This world-class sporting event happens only once a year, on a Sunday morning and only for half a day. We sincerely ask for your patience and understanding as we welcome more than 1,500 athletes from 50 countries who are staying and dining in our city for 3–7 days.
This is for our tourism and economic growth, which will benefit us Oponganons, as we showcase our city to the world.
