CCF INTEGRATED FARM: OUR JOURNEY TOWARD CARBON FARMING!
At CCF Integrated Farm, we believe that farming is not only about producing food—it is also about restoring nature, recycling resources, protecting biodiversity, and capturing carbon.
We are now developing our CCF Integrated Carbon Farming, Circular Economy & Biodiversity Project, where our different farm activities work together as one sustainable system.
Our Carbon-Farming Activities Include:
🌳 Intercropping fruit trees within our coconut plantation
🌿 Intercropping Aquilaria with coconut
🌳 Planting native trees for our Bird-Watching Sanctuary
🌾 Producing Carbonized Rice Hull (CRH)
🥥 Utilizing coco shell for charcoal and exploring appropriate biochar applications
🥥 Utilizing coco husk as mulch, cocopeat, vermiculture substrate, and planting-bed material
🪱 Vermiculture using livestock manure and organic materials
🪰 Black Soldier Fly (BSF) production for waste and nutrient recycling
🐖 Babayon na Walang Amoy through the use of organic bedding, with used bedding converted into soil amendment
🐇 Rabbitry and aviary integrated with vermiculture
🐟 Biofloc Technology, where sludge is recycled for vegetable fertigation and our Azolla pond
🌿 Producing Azolla as a natural feed resource for livestock
🌱 Producing organic soil mix from Vermicast, Cocopeat, Carbonized Rice Hull and River Sand
🐝 Raising stingless bees as pollinators and as part of our biodiversity conservation efforts
Our goal is to create a farm where nothing is wasted—biomass becomes soil amendment, livestock manure becomes vermicast and BSF feedstock, coconut residues become useful farm inputs, and trees continuously contribute to carbon storage.
Carbon farming is more than planting trees.
It is about building an agricultural system that can capture carbon, improve soil, recycle nutrients, reduce waste, protect biodiversity, and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for farmers.
We are currently establishing our baseline data, farm mapping, tree inventory, soil monitoring, biomass records and other documentation needed to evaluate which of our activities may qualify under appropriate carbon-credit methodologies.
We are not claiming carbon credits yet. Instead, we are building the foundation carefully and scientifically so that our future carbon claims can be properly measured, documented, validated and verified.
