We exclusively purchase broodstock from verified facilities listed by esteemed institutions such as the Oceanic Institute and the United States Marine Shrimp Farming Program Consortium. This ensures that our broodstock are specific pathogen-free (SPF) and/or specific pathogen-resistant (SPR).
At Ruru Aquatic Hatcheries, we adhere to bio-security guidelines and regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, demonstrating our commitment to responsible and sustainable shrimp farming practices.
