Hi, I’m Tel — part-time mermaid, full-time ocean daydreamer.

TelInTheBlue is my little corner of the internet where saltwater meets soul. I’m all about chasing sunken treasures (aka good stories), diving deep (literally and metaphorically), and spreading love for the big blue planet that covers most of this one. You’ll usually find me somewhere between the surface and the sea floor — freediving, floating, or staring at fish like they’ve got ancient wisdom (

spoiler: they do). When I’m not underwater, I’m wandering coastlines, talking to sea turtles, or rambling about ocean conservation and the weird, wonderful creatures we share this world with. This page is for fellow ocean nerds, travel bugs, wave chasers, and anyone who’s ever felt small (in the best way) looking out at the sea. Let’s explore, protect, and fall in love with the ocean, over and over again.

First time trying an e-skate in Siargao—on the day of my flight.
No hesitation, just one thought: I should’ve done this sooner.
I enjoyed it way more than expected, and I’ll definitely do it again once I’m back on the island.

I booked with and the experience was solid!! Smooth ride, well-maintained boards, and super friendly crew. Felt safe, fun, and 100% worth it.
