A quick look back at our Spanish-Italian collaboration. From the first bite by Chef Gale Tan to the last sip of Bosio’s finest, Mar y Fuego: A Piedmont Wine Journey was a night to remember.

The Mar y Fuego sensory journey began with the freshness and structure of the 2023 Bosio Boschi dei Signori Gavi DOCG. This selection stood out for its ability to gracefully accompany the bold flavors of the cuisine prepared by Chef Gale Tan Sun.

The vibrant notes and minerality of the Gavi created an ideal balance with the Seafood Croquette and Aji Amarillo. Similarly, the wine enhanced the natural sweetness of the Seared Hokkaido Scallops with Corn and Aji Verde, cleansing the palate with a pleasant acidity.

It was a refined start that celebrated the meeting of Italian winemaking excellence and the intensity of Spanish flavors.

Last Thursday marked an incredible debut for the World Cellar, as Winehub hosted an exclusive "Italian Wine Experience" with Emiliano Fermo. We explored the elegant Cielo e Terra range, a B Corp-certified winery that goes beyond organic and vegan standards to fund global clean water projects. It was a privilege for the Winehub team to pair these purposeful wines with the signature dishes of World Kitchen.
