According to NGCP, the Mindanao Grid’s Red Alert was lifted at 7:50 PM on September 3, 2026, followed by the lifting of the Yellow Alert at 10:15 PM.

Meaning, the grid situation improved that evening. But one thing remains:

Grid status can change. Preparedness shouldn’t. ☀️

As of 8:00 AM today, September 3, the Visayas and Mindanao grids are experiencing Yellow and Red Alert periods.
🔴 Visayas — Red Alert: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM
🔴 Mindanao — Red Alert: 12:00 PM–9:00 PM
🟡 Yellow Alert periods are also expected outside these hours.

Red Alert means power supply is insufficient for demand, making grid interruptions a real concern.

So kung WFH, negosyo, online work, or important appliances imong gisaligan sa kuryente, maybe it's time to ask:
