No one really talks about this kind of motherhood…
the kind where you don’t just feed—
you double the effort.
you latch your baby…
then still find time to pump.
you feed on demand…
but still think about your next pump schedule.
you’re not “just breastfeeding”
and you’re not “just pumping” either.
you’re doing both—
and somehow, you’re expected to make it look easy.
there are nights na halos wala ka nang tulog—
baby wants to latch, then after… you still pump.
there are days na pagod ka na physically, mentally…
pero you still sit down, hook yourself to a machine,
hoping may madagdag kahit konti.
and still… you show up.
every latch.
every pump.
every ounce saved.
from a few drops…
to this moment—
1002th milk bag. 🍼✨
5oz that looks so simple to others…
but this?
this is time.
this is effort.
this is puyat.
this is sacrifice.
this is love—twice as much, every single day.
because this journey?
hindi siya madali.
it’s choosing to stay kahit pagod ka na.
it’s choosing to give kahit ubos ka na.
it’s choosing your baby—again and again.
some days are beautiful…
some days are heavy.
but both are real.
and both are part of this journey.
1002 bags later, and I’m still here.
still latching.
still pumping.
still fighting.
still loving you the only way I know how.
para sa’yo, anak. always 🤍🍼
