Criteria: 10% of the Total Score will be based on the number of Facebook Reactions.
Voting Period: From now until December 24, 2023, at 6:00 PM.

BANCHETTO sa PASKO (Belen) Making Contest
The parish of St. Raphael will hold a βBanchetto sa Pasko (Belen) Making Contest". The purpose of the Belen Making Contest is to inspire and encourage the youth to preserve the tradition of celebrating Christmas by making a Belen, or Nativity scene to remind us of the true essence of Christmas. The Belen is a simple reminder that God became human to show the greatness of His love for mankind.
The contest is open to all. Participants in this contest are limited to using indigenous or recycled materials only or a combination of both.
BANCHETTO sa PASKO (Belen) Making Contest
1. The parish of St. Raphael will hold a βBanchetto sa Pasko (Belen) Making Contest". The purpose of the Belen Making Contest is to inspire and encourage the youth to preserve the tradition of celebrating Christmas by making a Belen, or Nativity scene to remind us of the true essence of Christmas. 3. Parol making and installations should be done on-site on December 9, 2023 at 8:00 AM. Three (3) to Five (5) members only per entry are allowed to join in the Parol Making.
4. Attached are the entry form and mechanics for the Banchetto sa Pasko (Parol) Contest. Entry forms must be submitted to [email protected] with a subject BANCHETTO SA PASKO BELEN CONTEST. Attached the names of the contact person and his/her contact number.

MECHANICS FOR THE BANCHETTO SA PASKO - BELEN MAKING CONTEST
THEME: A House of Synodality
1. PARTICIPANTS
The contest is open to all (schools or organizations). One entry per participant.
2. GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS OF THE CONTEST:
The Belen can be of any shape, design and size. The minimum size of the Belen will be 4ft x 6ft. It should be made of any indigenous or recycled materials. The Belen must be hand-made. No commercially made belen shall be entered in the contest. Lighting is required to enhance the visual effect of the belen. However, candles and live fire are not permissible. The Belen will be displayed in the strategic area of the parish. All entries must be a new creation and an original work of art.
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:
* Pre-Judging β 40 %
* Final Judging β 60%
Creativity 25 pts
Originality 20 pts
Workmanship and Durability 25 pts
Proper use of Indigenous/Recycled Materials 20 pts
Total of Post Reaction Emoji 10 pts
Total: 100 pts
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
The decision of the judges will be final and irrevocable. Winners will be announced before the final blessing during the Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi on December 24, 2023 and will be posted through SRAP official page.
