We are making authentic Philadelphia Cheesesteaks. We start with fresh thinly sliced Top Round beef shredded during the cooking process. Chopped onions are grilled until caramelized before adding the beef. Salt and pepper are added and then some cheese to melt with the beef and onions. At the same time a long soft roll is toasted and then smothered with cheese before adding the beef, cheese and onion mixture onto the roll. It's wrapped tightly with foil to bind it all together. Enjoy with some homemade coleslaw ( I enjoy adding that to the sandwich) along with some nacho chips. Hungry yet? Let's go!
