Ayu Manju is for sale.
Ayu Manju is an idea that came from Isinay word “Ayu-ayu” meaning “heartbreaking” or “poor thing” - “kaawa-awa”
Left a widow with kids to take care of, it was a name we think that echoes for us.
This concept came from my nostalgic snack moshi manju but since they do not offer franchise, decided why not make our own?
And Jehovah has provided and kept us on our feet and this business was up and running in just a month of prepation. So we dropped the second “Ayu” and now the name is very far from being pitiful. Ayu means beautiful, or something/ someone who binds people with love... Also a fish 🙃 but we wanted to keep Ayu sort of a symbol from being hurt to loving in return.
But things take a turn again as the accountant we trusted, who promised to help us, faked our permits and robbed us of money by taking our tax payments monthly but not filing it. 😔
The complexity of handling this stuff…was more than we can handle right now.
The concept was not just from our pocket but from our heart. We are looking for someone who has a strong heart to muddle through the complexities of setting up small business with BIR but still the innocence of a child to keep the concept simple - to make people enjoy a nostalgic snack.
Message us if you want to take over Ayu Manju! Teary eyed but hope you will keep the name.
