The Story Behind Iraya

Back in 2021, nagsimula ang Iraya sa simpleng dahilan, namimiss lang talaga namin kumain ng authentic sweet pili nuts.

During the pandemic, nahirapan kaming makahanap ng authentic na Bicol pili nuts dito sa Manila. Since marunong naman kaming gumawa, naisip namin na baka may iba rin na naghahanap at namimiss ang lasa nito tulad namin.

What started as a way to satisfy our cravings eventually became a small side hustle. Nakakatuwang isipin na maraming sumuporta at naka-appreciate ng produkto namin.

As things slowly returned to normal, kinailangan muna naming ihinto ang negosyo para makapag-focus sa aming mga trabaho. Kulang na rin sa oras para maibigay namin ang quality at attention na gusto naming ibigay sa bawat batch.

Fast forward to today, after a few years, marami pa rin ang nagtatanong kung kailan kami babalik.

And honestly, isa iyon sa mga dahilan kung bakit nandito ulit kami.

Mas may oras na kami ngayon para magfocus at mas pagandahin pa ang Iraya. Higit sa pagiging side hustle, gusto naming ipagpatuloy ang pagbabahagi ng authentic Bicol pili nuts sa mas maraming tao.

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pagkain. Para sa amin, paraan din ito para maibahagi ang isang piraso ng kultura at lasa ng Bicol sa bawat pack.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta noon at sa mga sasama sa amin sa bagong chapter na ito. ❤️

It’s been a while, but we’re finally back!

After quite some time, we’re happy to share that Iraya – Best of Bicol Pili Nuts is making a comeback.

To everyone who supported us before, thank you for staying with us. And to those who are just discovering Iraya, welcome!

We’re currently preparing for our relaunch and we’re excited to share what we’ve been working on. Same love for quality, same Bicol pride, now with a fresh new look.
