🤔 TRIVIA TIME!
Did you know that our beloved lumpia didn’t originally come from the Philippines?
🌯✨ Lumpia has Chinese roots! 🇨🇳➡️🇵🇭
It came from Fujian, China, brought here by early Chinese traders and immigrants. The first version, called lunpia, was a soft spring roll — and the name comes from the Hokkien words for “soft pancake.” 🥢
As the years passed, Filipinos embraced it and made it truly our own, creating flavors we now can’t live without:
🥬 Lumpiang Sariwa — fresh veggie goodness
🔥 Lumpiang Shanghai — crispy party superstar
🍌 Turon & Peanut Rolls — sweet Pinoy twists
From China to the Philippines, lumpia traveled, evolved, and became a symbol of our culture — found in birthdays, fiestas, holidays, and every Filipino dining table. 💛
So the next time you bite into lumpia, remember:
It’s more than just food — it’s history and heritage wrapped in every roll. 🌏✨
And for that authentic, traditional wrapper taste…
Choose JTS Lumpia — the original since 1974. 💛🌯
