Before you judge a police officer, ask yourself first… Do you know what they have been through? Do you know what they are feeling? Do you know the burdens they carry every single day? No, you don’t.
So let us not be quick to judge or provoke them. They are human beings too—with emotions, limitations, and silent battles they face every day. We never truly know the weight they carry or what that burden may lead to.
Not all police officers are the same. Many remain honest, honorable, and willing to sacrifice for the oath they have taken. Let us give the respect that is due to those who continue to serve with integrity, dignity, and unwavering dedication.
Another reminder: Don’t provoke them. Because they are living in a darker, harsher world, facing dangerous and ruthless criminals every day and night, while many of us sleep peacefully at night and go about our lives in comfort the next morning—as if living under rainbows with unicorns and cute little bunnies. Never mistake their restraint for weakness, because you can never truly know the weight they carry or what they have endured.
