Dehydrated/Dried Persimmons

Our first batch this season comes in 100 g jars. Freshly picked, preserved for 3 days then dehydrated and packed on the same day.
These sweet and slightly chewy treat can be enjoyed as a plain snack or mixed with bread, desserts, salads, yoghurt and oats.

On trials and errors

It has always been a practice for us whenever we're up to crafting new products to do trials and errors. It would sometimes take us 2 to 5 batches of processing - from choosing and preparing what materials and ingredients to use, the most applicable techniques, packaging, labeling and reasonable pricing to marketing - before we could finally come up with something.
There are practically loads of things to consider for just a single product. Yet again, we keep going.

Here's another - Bugnay jams. It's made from local currant berries that bring a smooth, thick texture coupled with sweet and tangy flavor almost similar to prunes or dried dates with mellowed tartness. This goes well with any bread or pastry.
