JAF FARM – Where a Dream Took Root
"Every beautiful destination begins with a simple dream..."
There was a time when my wife and I were searching for the perfect place to build our future. We weren't sure if it would be a beach property or a farm. We visited many beach lots, but they were simply beyond our budget. So, we prayed, kept believing, and continued searching.
Then one day, we found this 1.3-hectare mango farm along WLAC Road in Barangay Nagbunga, San Marcelino, Zambales. It wasn't the biggest property we had seen, but it felt right. It was accessible, peaceful, surrounded by nature, and most importantly, it was within our budget. At that moment, we knew God had led us to the right place.
The name JAF FARM also has a very special meaning to us. It was inspired by our names—J from Jazz and AF from Arvin Fisalbon. Combining our initials created JAF, a name that represents not only our family but also our shared dream, hard work, and journey together. It was the name that truly captured our hearts, so we chose it as the identity of our farm.
Not long after we purchased the farm, the pandemic changed everyone's lives. While many were confined to their homes, JAF FARM became our refuge—a place where we found peace, hope, and a fresh beginning.
The farm was covered with tall grass when we first arrived, but we never saw the weeds—we saw the potential. One step at a time, we transformed the land with love, patience, and hard work.
We built our entrance gate and concrete fence. We placed our first native kubo in the middle of the farm, giving us a simple home surrounded by nature.
As time went by, JAF FARM continued to grow. We planted flowers and created a butterfly garden. We built a tilapia fishpond, raised free-range chickens, cared for goats, planted fresh vegetables, and added a storage house for our equipment.
Soon, we built common toilets and baths, a portable swimming pool, a basketball half court, a bird sanctuary, relaxing benches beneath the mango trees, and beautiful pathways throughout the property. Most recently, we welcomed a new modern kubo, replacing our old native hut while preserving the peaceful charm of the farm.
But our journey doesn't end here.
Our dream is to make JAF FARM a place where families can reconnect, friends can create unforgettable memories, and nature can be enjoyed by everyone. Soon, we hope to build pickleball courts, an event venue, coffee and dining experiences, and many more exciting attractions.
Looking back, we realize that JAF FARM was never just about owning land.
It is a testimony that dreams come true through faith, perseverance, hard work, and God's amazing grace.
This is our story.

Before we end our story, we'd like to share one important thing.
At present, JAF FARM is not yet open to the public and is not yet fully operational. For now, it serves as our family's private vacation home—a peaceful place where we can rest, reconnect with nature, and continue building our dream.
The reason is simple: developing a farm into the resort and leisure destination we envision requires a significant investment. Like many dreams, ours is being built step by step. While we may not have all the resources to complete everything at once, we remain committed to improving JAF FARM little by little, as God continues to provide opportunities and blessings.
We believe that every great dream takes time, patience, and perseverance. One day, we hope to open the gates of JAF FARM to everyone and welcome families, friends, and nature lovers to experience the beauty, peace, and joy that this place has brought into our lives.
Until then, we will continue planting, building, and dreaming—one step at a time.
