Get ready, outdoor community! Alliance Institute of Mountaineering and Into The Woods Philippines Campfire Sessions are officially launching the ultimate fusion of outdoor adventure, folklore, and community music vibes. Welcome to the INTO THE WOODS OCTOBER CAMPFEST 6 - ENGKANTO FESTIVAL!
Deeply rooted in Philippine folklore, mystery, and heavy campsite acoustics, this year’s festival is a full-blown Halloween celebration inspired by the legendary track vibe of The Chongkeys. We are turning the mountains into a realm of wonder for Gabi ng Lagim (Night of Dread)!
⛺ WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE EVENT
This isn't just an ordinary camping trip—it's a massive gathering of skills, art, and solid outdoor camaraderie! Here is exactly what you can look forward to inside paradise:
1. Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) by Project RONIN : Perfect for beginners and those wanting to refresh their knowledge on proper outdoor ethics (Leave No Trace), mountain safety, and trail preparation.
2. Guided Rappelling Activity by Over the edge experience adventure: Test your limits! Experience safe, guided rappelling handled by our expert technical team and standby medics.
3. The Ultimate Gear Hub & Swap Meet:
All-Goods Gear Swap: Have functional, high-quality outdoor gear sitting at home? Trade or swap your "all-goods" mountaineering equipment with fellow campers!
4. Outdoor Marketplace: Various outdoor brands and independent sellers will be setting up shop for those looking for quality, affordable camping equipment.
5. Music & Arts: Live acoustic jamming sessions by the campfire as you enjoy the cool mountain air of Tanay, celebrating art and expression in the heart of nature.
6. Engkanto Costume Contest: Channel the ancient spirits of the woods! Wear your most creative Engkanto or Halloween Costume (Diwata, Tikbalang, Kapre, or any mythical creature of the night) and own the stage for a chance to win our Best of the Best Award!

Free Merch Display (Latag): To empower our local outdoor community and creators, setting up your brand or group's merchandise display is 100% FREE! Absolutely no booth or registration fees for selling. (Bigay nlng po kayo pang pa saya sa crowd "Raffle Items") :)
Note: To keep things fair and support the cause, all sellers, creators, and booth representatives must still purchase their own individual festival entrance pass.
Official Event Shirts: Into the Woods Shirts and Festival Merch will be available for purchase directly at the campsite! (Please note: Official shirts and merch are sold separately and are not included in the standard entrance fee).
🛡️ FESTIVAL SAFETY, SECURITY & LIABILITY POLICY
To ensure that our gathering remains safe, positive, and meaningful for everyone, we are implementing strict security and registration measures this year. Let's look out for one another and camp responsibly!
Spread Peace, Prevent Incidents: We highly encourage a culture of peace, respect, and mindfulness within the campsite. We discourage any negative behavior, rowdiness, or bad occurrences to avoid any accidents or incidents. Let's keep it all-goods!
Mandatory Waivers: We will be highly strict with safety protocols. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver upon registration. For minors, standard parental/guardian waivers will be strictly provided and required before entry.
Personal Responsibility & Negligence: Please remember that your safety is ultimately in your hands. The event organizers and management will hold absolutely no liability for any accidents, injuries, or incidents resulting from personal negligence or reckless behavior.
Zero Tolerance Policy: Tight security checks will be conducted at the entrance. We are strictly enforcing a NO WEAPONS and NO PROHIBITED DRUGS policy. Anyone found in possession of these will be denied entry immediately and turned over to local authorities.

Age & Child Policy: Children aged 5 and below are free of charge. However, please be highly mindful that bringing your children is strictly your own responsibility and risk; the event organizers and management assume no liability on your part. Because this is a rugged, overnight outdoor festival with an intense mystical theme, we still generally discourage bringing small children.
