NBA 2K24 Tournament Rules

📅 Tournament Format

Game Setting

Difficulty: Hall of Fame

Quarter Length:

Regular Matches: 7 minutes per quarter

Finals (Best of 3): 5 minutes per quarter

Game Mode: Play Now (Updated 2025 roster)

🔁 Match Format

Elimination Style: Single/Double Elimination or Round Robin (choose one)

Finals: Best of 3 series

🎮 Team Selection

Pre-Match Coin Toss:

Winner chooses either:

First pick of team OR

Homecourt advantage

The other player gets the remaining option.

Team Ban Rule:

Each player can ban one team per game before team selection.

Bans must be declared before the coin toss.

Team Lock:

Once selected, teams are locked for that game.

Teams can be reused in later matches unless you add a rule preventing it.

🏠 Homecourt Rules

The player who wins the homecourt advantage may choose:

Which side they play on (Player 1 or Player 2)

Or which team is designated as "home" if you’re using NBA rules

⚖️ Fair Play & Settings

No Custom Rosters/Sliders

No Pausing during live gameplay (Pause only on dead balls or timeouts)

Controller Settings: Default allowed; shot meter ON/OFF is player choice

Injuries and Fatigue: ON (or OFF — your choice)

📌 Other Rules (Optional)

Disconnects:

If a disconnection happens before halftime, replay the game.

If after halftime, the leading player may be awarded the win unless evidence suggests otherwise.
