๐ฟ Not All Leaf Nutrients Behave Alike
Two names, two different nutrient families. Carotenoids are plant pigments; tocopherols are forms of vitamin E.
Carotenoids are a family of plant pigments, while tocopherols are vitamin E compounds. They aren't interchangeable, and food scientists use separate methods to measure them.
A good example is comparing sugar with salt: both can be found in food, but one measurement cannot replace the other. Scientists test each group on its own.
Each group has its own role in plant chemistry, making moringa an appealing subject for careful food research.
