We were honored to welcome Mr. Tyler Sparks, Former Vice President of the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA), USA, along with representatives from the Institute of Reproductive Biotechnology and Genomics (IRBG), to GO Foods (Pvt.) Ltd.

During their visit, the delegation had the opportunity to meet with our respected Chairman Chaudhry Tahir Iqbal Jatt Sahib.

The meeting focused on valuable discussions around buffalo breeds and genetic improvement, future prospects for meat and mutton exports, elite goat breeds, and dairy cattle genetics and breeding programs. The exchange of knowledge and international expertise provided valuable insights into the future development of Pakistan’s livestock sector.

We greatly appreciate the visit and the opportunity to build meaningful international collaboration aimed at advancing genetics, breeding, livestock productivity, and modern farming in Pakistan.

چائنہ کے دورہ کے بعد اہم ملاقات اور تعمیری بات چیت

چودھری طاہر اقبال جٹ نے حالیہ چائنہ کے دورہ برائے لائیو سٹاک و ایگریکلچر کے بعد وزیر لائیو سٹاک پنجاب، سید عاشق حسین کرمانی سے خصوصی ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات میں دونوں شخصیات کے درمیان لائیو سٹاک کے شعبوں میں ترقی، تحقیق، جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے استعمال اور باہمی تعاون پر تفصیلی بات چیت ہوئی۔

اس موقع پر لائیو سٹاک کے نظام کو اپ گریڈ کرنے، بوفیلو (بھینسوں) کی بہتر افزائش، فیڈنگ کے جانوروں (Fattening Animals) اور فارمز کی تعداد بڑھانے، ان کی نگہداشت اور اپ گریڈیشن کے لیے درکار سہولیات کی فراہمی پر بھی خصوصی توجہ دی گئی۔ دونوں رہنماؤں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ جدید تقاضوں کے مطابق لائیو سٹاک کے ڈھانچے میں اصلاحات وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہیں۔

بات چیت کے دوران چائنہ کے لائیو سٹاک کی افزائش اور جدید تحقیقاتی طریقوں پر روشنی ڈالی گئی۔ چودھری طاہر اقبال جٹ نے اپنے دورہ چائنہ کے مشاہدات اور تجربات شیئر کیے، جنہیں وزیر لائیو سٹاک پنجاب نے دلچسپی سے سنا اور ان پہلوؤں کو پنجاب میں نافذ کرنے کے امکانات پر غور کیا۔

سید عاشق حسین کرمانی نے اس موقع پر کہا کہ حکومت پنجاب مویشی پالنے کے شعبے میں جدت لانے کے لیے پرعزم ہے، اور اس مقصد کے لیے تمام سٹیک ہولڈرز سے مشاورت اور تعاون جاری رکھا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بھینسوں اور فیڈنگ یونٹس کی ترقی کے ذریعے دودھ اور گوشت کی پیداوار میں اضافہ ممکن ہے، جس سے نہ صرف مقامی ضروریات پوری ہوں گی بلکہ برآمدات کے مواقع بھی پیدا ہوں گے۔
