Talbina - Porridges & Cereals Talbina is a meal made from barley, formed by adding milk and honey to the dried barley. In Islam, Prophet Mohammad (SAW) prescribed barley for many diseases.

It is called Talbina, which comes from the Arabic word laban meaning yogurt (milk/fermented milk), because of its resemblance to yogurt, as it is soft and white.
