جب موٹروے نہیں تھی تو لوگ حسن ابدال سے ہری پور، ایبٹ آباد اور مانسہرہ جانے کے لیے شاہراہِ ریشم کا استعمال کرتے تھے۔ آج کل اس روڈ پر ٹریفک پہلے کی نسبت کافی کم ہو چکی ہے، مگر ایک بات آج بھی اس روڈ کو خاص بناتی ہے کہ یہاں سفر کے دوران بے شمار خوبصورت نظارے دیکھنے کو ملتے ہیں۔ اب یہ سڑک مزید بہتر ہو رہی ہے، جس کے بعد اس پر سفر کرنا پہلے سے بھی زیادہ آرام دہ اور خوشگوار ہو جائے گا۔
