BUTTER COOKIES (Soft Butter Cookies)
Ingredients
Unsalted butter: 1 cup (soft)
Powdered sugar: ½ cup
Egg yolk: 1
Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
All-purpose flour: 2 cups
Salt: ¼ tsp
Method
1. Cream butter + powdered sugar until fluffy.
2. Add egg yolk and vanilla, mix well.
3. Add flour and salt → soft dough.
4. Pipe or shape cookies.
5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 min.
🍫 BROWNIE COOKIES (Crinkle Style)
Ingredients
Unsalted butter: ½ cup
Semi-sweet chocolate: 1 cup (melted)
Sugar: ¾ cup
Eggs: 2
Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
All-purpose flour: ¾ cup
Cocoa powder: ¼ cup
Baking powder: ½ tsp
Salt: ¼ tsp
Method
1. Mix melted butter + chocolate + sugar.
2. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Fold in dry ingredients.
4. Chill 20 min.
5. Scoop and bake at 350°F for 10–12 min.
🍓 JAM THUMBPRINT COOKIES
Ingredients
Unsalted butter: 1 cup (soft)
Sugar: ½ cup
Egg yolk: 1
Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
All-purpose flour: 2¼ cups
Jam (strawberry/raspberry): ½ cup
Method
1. Cream butter + sugar.
2. Add yolk + vanilla.
3. Mix flour → soft dough.
4. Shape balls, thumb press center.
5. Fill jam.
6. Bake at 350°F for 12–14 min.
🍪 CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Ingredients
Unsalted butter: ¾ cup
Brown sugar: ½ cup
White sugar: ¼ cup
Egg: 1
Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
All-purpose flour: 2 cups
Baking soda: ½ tsp
Salt: ½ tsp
Chocolate chips: 1 cup
Method
1. Cream butter + sugars.
2. Add egg + vanilla.
3. Mix dry ingredients.
4. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 min.
